Bastille is an electro house DJ/production duo from Los Angeles consisting of members Julien Benichou (Oberlin, 2012) and Michael Ullman (Wesleyan, 2012), both 19 years of age. Their initial influences were all electro artists, including Justice, The Blood…y Beetroots, and Teenage Bad Girl, but they have since fallen in love with all forms of house music, especially producers like Deadmau5, Pryda, and Afrojack.

They have been producing for a year, DJing for two, and have just released their first Remix Package. The EP doesn’t just stick to electro house, though, with the Cold As Ice remix containing elements of progressive while the Jackson 5 remix is inspired by french filter house.
